FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Method of Completion and submission of Forms:

Application forms are completed ONLINE AT www.fsb.gov.ng

Applicants MUST go through the INSTRUCTIONS before completing the online form

1.  All applicants MUST fill the online version of the Application form first and submit it online.

After which they should PRINT the Completed application forms which should be endorsed by the Heads of Department and Registrars and Deans of Postgraduate schools (for postgraduate candidates only). Photocopies of other documents to be submitted online with the completed Application forms are;

• Letter of admission to the institution you are studying.
• Educational certificates
• Course Registration
• Identity Card
• Last sessional examination result
• One (1) passport-size photographs

Online application submitted after the closing date or incorrect/incomplete filled, or without the correct documents will not be processed.

2.  COURSES TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE AWARD ARE AS FOLLOWS

A.  Science and Technology

B.  Medicine and Para-medicals.

C.  Science Subjects with Education.

D.  Arts and other subjects with Education.

E.  Liberal Arts/Social/Management Sciences.

F.  Law

G.  HND (science and Technology)

H.  NCE

3 . BASIC QUALIFICATION:

(a) POSTGRADUATE SCHOLASHIP

All applicants for postgraduate scholarship should have at least a first degree (2^nd Class) or HND (Upper Class Level)

(b) UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP:

All applicants for undergraduate degree scholarship must possess a minimum Qualification of five credits in Senior Secondary Certificate Examination including English Language and Mathematics. In addition, they must be in the 2^nd year of their studies or above and must have at least 4.0 C.G.P.A on a 5 point scale or its equivalent in previous academic years examinations.

(c) HND SCHOLARSHIP:

All applicants must have a minimum of Upper Credit Pass at ND level. The Award

Covers HND 1 AND HND II

(d)    NCE SCHOLARSHIP:

The award is for 2^nd and 3^rd year of NCE programme and candidates must have a minimum of 3.0 CGPA score on 5 point scale or its equivalent in the previous examinations.

4.  ALL COMPLETED APPLICATION FORMS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED WITH COPIES OF THE FOLLOWING:

i)  Educational certificates (on no account should original certificates be sent)

ii)  Letter of admission to the institution you are studying

iii)  Course Registration

iv)  Last sessional examination result

v)  Identity Card.

vi)  2 passport-size photographs.
